Can I place a request of control for my customers?
Yes.
An intermediary such as a notary or a real estate agency can also place this request for his/her customers wishing to put his/her property on sale.
How do I place my request of appointment as a Member?
• You must be registered beforehand as a professional member
• With your login and password, you request for an appointment via the “Professional area”.
• Fill-in the coordinates and availabilities of your customer
How long it takes for an appointment confirmation?
• SGS contacts your customer within a period of 1 to maximum 4 days following your request, and confirms with your customer the date of appointment for the control
• You are informed via the platform of the status of the visit
How is a control held?
The day of the appointment the customer should have:
- Code EAN* of its electric meter (code of 18 digits mentioned on his/her electricity invoice)
- Single-line wiring graphic plan of the electrical installation
- Plan of position of the elements of the electrical installation
If these plans are not available, they can be realized by the SGS controller (you will have to mention this in the request form).
Once the control done, the report is provided directly to your customer if he/she pays the day of the appointment ; or sent to your office address if you requested to be invoiced for it.
Report of Control contains also the graphic plans, if they were requested.
These documents should be transmitted to the notary at the latest on the day of the sale contract.
How long it takes to realize a control?
For a standard housing unit, and whose installation has only one electricity meter, control will last approximately 1 hour.
How much it cost to use the platform?

How to manage the payments?
You benefit from an optimized administration.
The payments can be done in 2 manners:
1) You receive monthly a grouped invoice for all the controls carried out by SGS for your customers.
On each invoice you will have the details of the customer for whom the control was done; you will then be able to invoice each control to your customers.
OR
2) You ask in the form of request for control that the payment is to be done directly by your customer on the spot, the day of control. Please note that if the customer doesn’t pay, the invoice is sent directly to your office address.
